Where AI pays off on an MSP service desk
- Triage at the point of submission. Tickets are categorised and routed as they arrive, before first line has to read them. Done properly it's rule-driven and tightly guarded, because a mis-routed ticket costs more than a slow one.
- Tickets from whatever the customer sends. Call recordings, screenshots, emails and plain text turned into structured tickets, so technicians stop retyping what the customer already told you.
- Your ticket history as an asset. Years of closed tickets hold the answer to most of today's problems. Indexed properly, that history improves triage and gives you reporting your account managers can actually use.
- Voice where people work. Update projects, assign tasks and change dates by voice. Answer the support line out of hours with an agent that verifies the caller and logs the ticket.
- Inside Microsoft Teams. Log and track tickets where your customers and staff already spend the day, not in another tab.
What we're building for a US MSP right now
A New York managed service provider serving customers across the US asked us to take the pressure off its first line. We're building it a PSA platform from the ground up with AI triage built in, a voice-driven front end for its dated project system and, next in the pipeline, an out-of-hours voice agent and a Microsoft Teams app.
We're straight about status. The voice front end is built. The PSA and real-time triage are in delivery. We'll publish deflection and cost figures once they're measured, not estimated. Read the full case study.
"The system turns fragmented information into structured tickets and usable insight for our helpdesk."
MSP Leadership Team
Built for a live service desk, not a demo
The service desk is where an MSP's reputation lives. Everything we put in front of customers or technicians follows the same rules.
- Guardrails first. Triage is rule-driven with explicit limits on what the model decides on its own.
- Tested on your tickets. Every change is evaluated against real historic tickets before it carries load.
- On your stack. We integrate with the tools you run today or build alongside them, behind your authentication, with data handling agreed in writing before we start.
- Looked after once it's live. Models change every few weeks. Managed AI operations keeps triage accurate as they do.
Why MSPs work with us
One of our founders, Andrew Lee, founded and exited a UK managed service provider. Ticket queues, first-line load and the gap between a slick tool and one your technicians will actually use aren't a brief we had to learn. They're problems we lived with for years.
How to start
Start with our free, no-obligation AI Readiness Diagnostic. We learn how your service desk actually runs, find where triage and automation would pay off and hand you a statement of work, a wireframe and an ROI case you keep either way. Common questions
Will AI replace our first-line team?
That's not the aim. The aim is to stop first-line headcount growing in step with your customer base. Triage and ticket creation take the repetitive reading and routing off first line, so the same team handles more and spends its time on work that needs a person.
Does it work with the PSA we already use?
Usually, yes. We integrate with the tools you run today wherever their APIs allow, or build alongside them where they don't. The Diagnostic tells you which applies before you spend anything.
How do you stop the AI mis-routing tickets?
By not letting it guess. Triage is rule-driven with explicit guardrails, it's tested against your historic tickets before it goes live and anything it can't place with confidence goes to a person.
What does it cost?
The Diagnostic is free. Builds are scoped around the value and the level of integration, and smaller production builds typically start in the tens of thousands. You'll have a costed statement of work before you commit to anything.
